Julia Willie Hamburg<\/a> was able to get an idea of this during her summer trip.<\/p>\n

What is it like to study at TU Braunschweig and what is life on campus like? On 22 September<\/a> TU Braunschweig’s Higher Education Information Day (HIT) will take place, with taster lectures, portraits of degree courses, guided tours and opportunities for discussion.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Policy recommendations for entrepreneurship<\/h3>\n

The report on the results<\/a> of the \u201cLower Saxony University Entrepreneurship Monitoring 2022\u201d provides an insight into the transformation of entrepreneurship in the state of Lower Saxony. It also provides key recommendations for action. The report is available for download after registration.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Computer science talent wanted<\/h3>\n

Professor Marcus Magnor<\/a> has been selected as one of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation\u2019s new Henriette Herz Scouts. The head of the Computer Graphics Lab now has the opportunity to propose three international academic talents for a research fellowship.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Future aircraft configurations<\/h3>\n

New technologies and aircraft concepts are needed to drastically reduce aircraft emissions and energy consumption. However, solutions need to be evaluated at the overall aircraft level. This is the focus of a SE\u00b2A Junior Research Group led by Dr Stanislav Karpuk<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Research Services has published a new website on the topic of science awards<\/a>. This page serves as an overview of the most prestigious German science awards, whose nomination process is centrally coordinated and supported by the Research Services.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Health and climate change<\/h3>\n

The lecture<\/a> \u201cI \u2013 You \u2013 We \u2013 Now! Adapting the city together to the consequences of climate change\u201d, the Gesundheitsregion Braunschweig and the project Co-Adapted Braunschweig invite you to the Institute of Geoecology on 7 September. The speakers will be Dr Ines Bruchmann and Lotta Becker from the Department of Climate Protection and Strategic Environmental Planning of the City of Braunschweig.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Register now! 12th Braunschweig Energy Seminars<\/h3>\n

From 21 to 22 September, experts from science and industry will meet at Haus der Wissenschaft to discuss a wide range of topics from the fields of superconductors, direct current technology and hydrogen. Take part in lectures on applications of resistance-free superconductors or the transmission of rectified high voltage (HVDC). Find out more and register here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That’s what the city of Braunschweig is asking its citizens. Until 24 September, Braunschweig residents can easily and conveniently report possible obstacles on cycle paths on a digital map<\/a>. The aim is to improve the cycling network in Braunschweig.<\/p>\n

… Aeon Robotics! The robotics start-up won third place<\/a> in the \u201cBest of Technology 2023\u201d award in the \u201cProduction\u201d category. This category honours companies that are paving the way for Industry 4.0 with the help of innovative digital technologies and IT applications.<\/p>\n

This week’s darling is Mjellma \u00c7itaku<\/a>! She won an award from the ARD.ZDF medienakademie for her master’s thesis at the Institute for Communications Technology at TU Braunschweig. The award honours outstanding final theses written by women in the field of audiovisual media production and distribution. Congratulations!<\/p>\n
