Photo credit: Ahmed Nassef\/TU Braunschweig<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Professor Marli Hatje&#8217;s stay is part of a consultancy project to revise curricula for physical education teacher training in Santa Maria and other Brazilian universities. The project is led by retired Professor Reiner Hildebrandt-Stramann from the TU&#8217;s Institute of Sport Science and Movement Pedagogy and is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).<\/p>\n<p>The aim is, among other things, to develop a modularised curriculum including module manuals. This will make the study structure comparable in some modules and support the exchange of students and teachers from the Brazilian universities and the Institute of Sport Science and Movement Pedagogy.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past few weeks, Professor Marli Hatje exchanged ideas with her colleagues from Braunschweig about the goals, modules, contents and the didactic and movement education concepts.
