The presidents of TU Braunschweig and TU Darmstadt will lead TU9<\/a>, the alliance of leading technical universities in Germany. They were unanimously elected for the term of office 2022 to 2024 at the General Assembly. This is the first time that there are two women at the head of the alliance.<\/p>\n

\u25ba 15 million for quantum industry transfer<\/h3>\n

With the QVLS-iLabs<\/a>, a cluster of the Clusters4Future programme is coming to the region. As part of Quantum Valley Lower Saxony, the iLabs match the strengths of the core research area metrology with industrial partners.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Three years of the research club bid farewell<\/h3>\n

Workshops on acoustics, simulation, programming and design have already invited three years of students to try things out in the “changING” research club<\/a> in the Cluster of Excellence SE\u00b2A. In autumn, the students will start the next research year, and at the same time the fourth year will begin.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Surveys on the automated family car<\/h3>\n

The development of the automated vehicle autoELFE is part of the UNICARagil project. The colleagues at the Institute of Psychology want to find out what requirements such a car should fulfill \u2013 from the point of view of older people aged 65 <\/a>and over who no longer drive themselves, and from the point of view of parents with underage children<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Funding to accelerate the energy transition<\/h3>\n

The Energy Research Centre Lower Saxony (EFZN) has launched a funding programme<\/a> to accelerate the transformation of the energy system in the area of tension between the energy crisis and climate protection The deadline for submissions is 30 September.<\/p>\n

\u25ba European Research & Innovation days<\/h3>\n

This years\u2018 digital R&I days<\/a> of the European Commission will be on 28th and 29th of September. Registration is already open.<\/p>\n
