\u25ba Vaccinations at the Research Airport Campus<\/h3>\n

In addition to the existing vaccination offer in the sports hall at Rebenring<\/a>, first, second and booster vaccinations will be offered once on 9 February at the Institute of Jet Propulsion and Turbomachinery (IFAS) at the research airport. The vaccination offer is aimed at all persons from 12 years of age.<\/p>\n

\u25ba TU Braunschweig involved in COVID-19 research network Lower Saxony<\/h3>\n

The COFONI research network<\/a> promotes research into active agents against SARS-CoV-2 as well as the causes and long-term consequences of COVID-19 disease. The TU Braunschweig is working together with the HZI to better predict future variants of SARS-CoV-2 and improved active agents.<\/p>\n

\u25ba \u201cTeaching in English has many aspects\u201d<\/h3>\n

The topic of multilingual teaching is more present than ever. President Professor Angela Ittel and Sabrina Ammann, President of the Student Parliament, talk about the status quo in an interview<\/a> and venture a look into the future of English-language teaching.<\/p>\n

Why does so much of our still edible food end up in the rubbish? The Agnes Pockels Laboratory brochure “Use it, don’t waste it!”<\/a> gives tips and background information on the topic of food waste and shows how you can become a food expert through simple experiments.<\/p>\n

Students and teachers can contribute their ideas for digital learning and teaching at a workshop of the Co3Lean project on February 15. The goal is to develop a digital toolbox for collaborative learning and learning content development to strengthen collaboration in the digital space. Click here to register<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u25ba In the starting blocks\u2026<\/h3>\n

… the first round of the ProDiGI funding line<\/a> to support digital international teaching is ready. A total of 19 applications for innovation projects were submitted, from which the project board will now make a selection. The kick-off of the funding round will take place in April.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Information event on the admission of researchers at risk<\/h3>\n

Within the framework of the Philipp Schwartz Initiative, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is offering a “Special Programme for Bridging Sponsorship for Academics from Afghanistan”<\/a>. Applications can be submitted until 28 February. Details on how to apply will be presented in a webinar on 8 February. The main programme of the Philipp Schwartz Initiative for researchers at risk from other EU countries, which was announced last week, will also be the subject of a webinar on 7 February to prepare the application process.<\/p>\n

\u25ba Funding program “Begegungszonen” for natural scientists<\/h3>\n

Joachim Herz Foundation supports interdisciplinary and international events<\/a> for young scientists. Applications can be submitted until May 16, 2022.<\/p>\n

\u25ba New Funding Opportunity for Indo-German International Research Training Groups<\/h3>\n

Applications for Indo-German Research Training Groups<\/a> to be funded by the DFG-DST are open to all subject areas covered by the DST. Interdisciplinarity in joint projects is desired. The first deadline for the submission of draft proposals is 1 August. Thereafter, there are two deadlines per year: 1 February and 1 August.<\/p>\n
