Welcome to our newsletter in its new format. We have restructured and redesigned our reliable monthly editorial service for you in terms of content, graphics and technology.<\/p>\n

In regard to our featured topics, we want to set a focus by lead story and highlight \u00a0socially relevant, sometimes controversial, but always future-oriented issues that we currently grapple with at the Carolo-Wilhelmina. Our \u201cSubject matters\u201d provide a brief overview of current highlights from research, teaching and campus life. In \u201cShort matters\u201d we then take a look behind the scenes of our university and introduce some of the many amazing people who work and study here. The section \u201cEvent Tips\u201d offers a small preview of our top events.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPresident\u201d or \u201cGovernace Board\u201d column will become an integral part of the new format. Here you will find current issues, comments and background information from the everyday life of the university management.<\/p>\n

We want to keep the newsletter as relevant, stimulating, entertaining, and at the same time as short as possible. We will therefore be able to only include a very limited selection of topics which we will feature and which will nor represent all the topics, achievements and highlights of our university. We will provide links to additional highlights \u00a0presented in our contuinuoulsy updated web magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The new format will be published in German and English. It is optimized for mobile devices and at the same time offers you the data security TU Braunschweig reliably provides for.<\/p>\n

We are looking forward to your feedback, via personal conversation with the team of the Press and Communications Office <\/a>or by e-mail to presse@tu-braunschweig.de.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow – on Thursday 02.09.2021 \u2013 my official inauguration as president of TU Braunschweig will take place. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and the associated logistics, we will not be able to welcome you all on site. All the more cordially, the University Council, the Senate and the Presidential Board of Carolo-Wilhelmina invite you to join us digitally. You will find the access data in our events calendar<\/a>. I am very much looking forward to meeting you there – and as soon as possible in person – at our TU Braunschweig.<\/p>\n
