\n<\/b><\/h3>\n

Even if the doors of the <\/span>Student Service Center <\/span><\/a>have to remain closed, service and advice are still available. Staff members of the service area introduce themselves in a series of interviews and talk about their experiences since the beginning of the pandemic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba <\/b>Why do we behave the way we do?<\/h3>\n

The two behavioral psychologists Professor Frank Eggert and Dr. Matthias Borgstedte provide an answer in a joint study. They unite the connection between learning and evolution in their theory and show how our behavior is shaped by the consequences it has for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba <\/b>TU Braunschweig involved in three “Innovation Laboratories for Hydrogen Technologies”
\n<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK) is funding a total of five projects on climate-friendly green hydrogen with around 1.2 million euros each. The TU Braunschweig is conducting <\/span>research in three projects<\/span><\/a> on hydrogen filling stations, sustainable hydrogen combustion concepts in engines and hydrogen production.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba<\/b> Technology developed for fast web services: Chuck Thacker Award for Michael Franz
\n<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is <\/span>awarding Michael Franz, professor at the University of California and visiting professor at the TU Braunschweig<\/span><\/a>, the “Charles P. Chuck Thacker Breakthrough in Computing Award”. Franz is being honored for developing just-in-time compilation techniques that enable fast and feature-rich Web services on the Internet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though we in the Press and Communications Staff Office see ourselves as professionals, we are always grateful for scientific input from the institutes.
