Why do Entrepreneurship Skills matter for academics? Academic research and findings are the basis on which innovation is built. However, transferring these findings into new potentials and solutions for the world beyond university walls often poses an obstacle. As a consequence, good ideas and possibilities get lost or at least delayed on the way. Knowing how to carry innovation into society is therefore a crucial future skill for researchers. Being able to illustrate potential, make full use of existing resources and build up new connections is essential \u2013 for academic research and transfer as well as preparing students for tomorrow.
